Apartment Fire in First Due

Yesterday afternoon, the Good Will Fire Company and mutual aid were dispatched to the Colonial Village North Apartments for a Building Fire. Special-Ops 507 arrived and reported Smoke Showing from a 3 Story Apartment Building. Engine 18 arrived and stretched an attack line. 18-8B established Command, and passed to Chief 20 on his arrival. Crews extinguished the fire, and searched for victims. 1 Dog was rescued by Firefighters.
Red Cross was in place to provide assistance to the residents displaced by the fire.
Good Will was assisted by Holloway Terrace Fire Co. , Wilmington Manor Fire Company , Christiana Fire , Minquas Fire Company #1 , Claymont Fire Company , and New Castle County Paramedics .
