Two Box Alarms

Just after 6:30pm, the Engine, Ladder, and Deputy Chief along with mutual aid units responded to a Multi-Residential Fire at the Deemers Landing Apartments. Units arrived and found a smoke condition in the stairwell. The source was determined to be a stovetop fire in a top floor apartment. After checking for extension, the assignment was reduced to Good Will unit’s.
Later in the evening, Ladder 18 was alerted to assist Christiana Fire on a Commercial Fire at the Burger King on Pulaski Hwy. Ladder 18 arrived as the first due special service and assisted in moving a stand alone warmer with an over heated motor out of the store. The crew checked for extension and placed fans in service for ventilation.
