Construction Equipment on Fire

On the afternoon of the 7th, the box alarm was dispatched for the 4000 block of New Castle Ave for smoke coming from a building. Engine, Ladder, and Deputy 18 responded. Engine 22 arrived in the area and reported construction equipment on fire in the rear of a contractors yard and reduced the assignment to Engine's 22 and 18. The crew operated for 30 minutes providing water to Engine 22 and assisting their crew.
