Engine and Ladder 18 Respond to Electrical Fire in Apartment Complex

Just after 9pm, units were alerted to the William Penn Village Apartments for a Multi-Residential Fire. Engine 18 and Chief 18 responded on dispatch and given a report of a stove on fire. Engine 18 arrived, securing their own water source and stretching a line. Investigating crews found a bathroom ventilation fan that was on fire. Crews removed the fan and surrounding drywall and insulation. The incident was placed under control and turned over to building maintenance. Ladder 18, Engine and Ladder 28, Engine and Rescue 22, Ladder 17 and Squad 6 also responded.
