Rescue Engine and Engine Take in Work in Collins Park

Units were dispatched to the 200 block of Rodney Drive in Collins Park just before 11pm. Engine 18-6 responded quickly and arrived as the first due special service. At the same time, the crew from Engine 20-5 and Ambulance A 28 were removing one victim. The crew from 18-6 conducted a primary search of the first and second floors with negative results. Engine 18 arrived and acted as the second due engine at the hydrant. Crews operated on the fire ground for a little over an hour before clearing.
 This incident was the third box alarm for the day. Upon clearing, Engine 18 also responded to a medical assist in district.
