City of New Castle Passes Fire Sprinkler Legislation

On Tuesday January 13th, the City of New Castle Delaware City Council passed Ordinance 561. This ordinance adopts the 2024 International Code Council (ICC) Residential Building Code requiring the installation of sprinklers in new construction single family homes. This adaptation is a huge step in life safety updates for our community. Thanks to the City of New Castle Council for initiating this life saving legislation.
