House Fire in Jefferson Farms

Just after 5am, the box alarm was struck for the unit block of Pendelton Ct in Jefferson Farms. Engine 18 and Chief 18 responded. Upon arrival, units found fire showung from the A and B sides of the home. Engine 18 established a water supply and deployed a 200' hand line to the seat of the fire. Engine 22-3 arrived and secured Engine 18's hydrant. Engine's 12 and 23 assumed the third and fourth due engine assignmnts and established a secondary supply line. Tower 12 operated as the first due special ventilating and completing a secondary search. Rescue Engine 15 and Quint 7 also operated. Chief 18-8 had the New Castle Command. Units operated for approximatly 2 hours before clearing. The incident is being investigated by the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office.
