Duty Crew Keeps Busy with Station Work and Alarms

Thursday evening, the duty crew dumped the hose bed on Engine 18 to reorganize. The dividers were adjusted and one added to allow for the addition of a 2 1/2" preconnected handline. During this time, Squad and Ladder 18 were staffed as the East Side Duty Crew. During that time, the crews handled a Motor Vehicle Crash on 295 in Minquadale and a Multi-Residential Fire in the district. 

The new hosebed layout is 200' 1 3/4" with a 15/16" smoothbore, 200' 1 3/4" with a fog tip, 300' 1 3/4" with a 15/16" smoothbore, 500' of 2 1/2" static bed, 200' of 2 1/2" with a 1 3/16" smoothbore, and 1200' of 4" static bed.
