House Fire in Dunleith Community

Station 18 was alerted to assist Minquadale on a Residential Fire in the 400 block of Bethune Dr. Ladder 18 made the response. First arriving units found smoke from the attic area and fire from the attic in the rear of the structure. Ladder 18 arrived and was sent to the roof to open up. At the same time, a member from Ladder 18 used a water can to keep the fire from extending down into the house while Engine 32 was stretching a handline. The fire was extinguished and units operated for approximatly 90 minutes before clearing.
