MVC with Entrapment-Vehicle in a Ditch

Units were dispatched to the indicated location for an MVC with Entrapent. Rescue Engine 28 and Ambulance 32, who were on the road for another accident, responded as well. Ambulanc 18 and Ladder 18 (acting as the rescue) responded along with Deputy 18. The crews arrived and found one vehicle upside down in a drainage ditch with one occupant trapped. The crews went to work extricating the patient. Once extricted, the patient was evaluated by the EMS crews and New Castle County Paramedics and then transported by Delaware State Police Helecopter to the local truama center.
