Shooting in South End of District

On Saturday Afternoon, Station 18 and NCC Paramedics were alerted to a shooting in the Bayview Manor Community. A18 made the initial response and Engine 18 responded after clearing a fire alarm in the city. A18 and Paramedics staged until under control was given by the police. EMS crews provided care to the patient while Engine 18 responded to the front of the neighborhood to set up a landing zone for Trooper 4. The patient was transported from the scene to the landing zone by A18 and the crew from the engine assisted in transfering to the helicopter. The patient was transported to the local trauma center.
