Grease Fire in Jefferson Farms

On Sunday afternoon, Station 18 and Engine 20 were alerted to an Extinguished structure fire in the 200 block of Skelton Drive in Jefferson Farms. Engine's 18-2 and 20-5 responded quickly. Upon arrival, the crew of 18-2 made contact with the resident and found that there had been a small crease fire in the kitchen and he attempted to put it out by putting water in the pan. THe clames then flared up before extinguishing themselves. Crews checked the cabinets and walls and found no extension.
