Throughout the week of September 14-20, members were traveling back and forth to Dover where the State Conference was being held. Members attended business meetings and had equipment on display for all to see. Beginning Wednesday, the Ahrens-Fox was positioned outside the from doors of Dover Downs for all to see. The antique was a hit with firefighters and guests alike. Then, on Friday evening, numerous officers and members gathered to honor Good Will Ladies Auxiliary Past President Karen Majewski as she ended her term of office as the President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association (LADVFA). And finally, on Saturday the members participated in the Conference Parade through downtown Dover. Good Will was the second fire company in line with quite a group. Both the fire company and ladies auxiliary's marching units were followed by the Ahrens-Fox which was escorting LADVFA Grand Marshal Lois Oneschuk, Engine 18, and Ladder 18.
The members made an outstanding showing to represent both the fire company and outgoing LADVFA President Karen Majewski.
Overall, the members were awarded 2nd Best Appearing Antique, 2nd Best Appearing Ladies Auxiliary, 3rd Best Appearing Pumper, and 6th Best Appearing Marching Unit without Music.
