Boat 18 is a 12' Zodiac Hurricane Rigid Hull Inflatable (RIB). The craft was purchased in 1992 and remains in service today. The craft is equipped with a 25 horse power Yahama tiller drive motor, throw bags, paddles, and boat hooks. The unit primarily responds to inland flooding and swiftwater rescues. This unit also responds second on in district rescues in the Delaware River or when a vessel with a shallow draft is required.
