While on the woods fire, an additional crew remained in quarters to handle other emergencies. Engine 18 responded to two additional incidents; a fire alarm and a box alarm for a kitchen fire. Engine 18 laid out and arrived on scene to find smoke showing. The crew extinguished a small kitchen fire and were back in service in 30 minutes.
